So what I'm going to do
is to show you :
How to tie your shoe
with what's called
a heel lock and so you've got your typical lacing here where it's a cross over
and what you're going to find on these
shoes is an extra hole in the back and so what I'm going to do is to take the
lace that's on the same side of the shoe
and instead of crossing it over. I'm going
to take it in on the same side and put
it through so that's one side and. I'm going to create a little loop there and
then on the next side I'm going to
with what's called
a heel lock and so you've got your typical lacing here where it's a cross over
and what you're going to find on these
shoes is an extra hole in the back and so what I'm going to do is to take the
lace that's on the same side of the shoe
and instead of crossing it over. I'm going
to take it in on the same side and put
it through so that's one side and. I'm going to create a little loop there and
then on the next side I'm going to
do the exact same thing
so I'm using that
last hole and I'm pulling it through and so now I'm going to actually create the lock so I
take the lace and put it through the loop on
the other side and kind of give it a
little tug
and then I'm going to do the same over here I'm going to take the lace put it through the other loop on this side and then I'm going to cinch it down so it's important to cinch it down because you don't you want it nice and snug here you
don't want it laying
out like this so I'm
going to pull on this side and then I'm going to pull down and I'm going to then just tie in my shoe
in a regular fashion and so I'm just
going to finish it off like this you know you can double
lace it if you want and
then what you have is a locked-in heel .
